Thurs Morning Men’s Group: How to Hear God

Men are invited to gather Thursday mornings at 6:30 AM beginning August 27 for a small group led by Grant. The group will meet at the Panera Bread located off Balboa Ave and work through How to Hear God: A Simple Guide for Normal People by Pete Greig. Together, the group will explore practical ways to recognize God’s voice, grow in prayer, and deepen their relationship with Him. The book is designed to spark meaningful conversation, making this a great opportunity to grow spiritually while building stronger relationships with other men at TPC. Thurs Night - Women’s Bible Study on Romans

Women’s small group Bible study led by Lydia Abney and Erin Shatila. The Book of Romans. Thursday evenings from 6:00 to 7:30 PM for 10 weeks, beginning August 27 on at Torrey Pines Church. Romans shows us the power of the gospel to bring clarity to everyday life. It shows us how to love, how to resolve conflict, when to speak, and when to remain quiet. Whether this is your first Bible study or you have already read Romans, you are invited to gain new insight and grow in faith and wisdom alongside other women in our TPC community. Thursday nights are an evening of discipleship for the whole family, with groups available for kids ages 4 and older and for students. Please register in advance on the TPC website and purchase the paperback workbook, Romans: Live With Clarity by Jada Edwards, before the first meeting.
Tues Night Men’s Group: "Anxious for Nothing"
We will be doing the Book: Anxious for Nothing: Finding Calm in a Chaotic World by Max Lacado. The series is built around a short five-session structure based on the biblical prescription for combating worry found in Philippians 4:4-8. The Study Guide is $13.90. WHEN: Tuesdays, 6:30 PM, beginning Tuesday, September 1 WHERE: Bill Traganza’s home in University City. (Address provided after registration.) SCHEDULE: The group will meet each Tuesday (except the third Tuesday of the month, when men are encouraged to attend the monthly As Iron Men’s Gathering at Torrey Pines Church.) GROUP SIZE: Limited to 8 to 12 men to create space for deeper relationships and trust.
W202 - Soul Keepers - Women's Growth Group

Our modified summer meeting schedule is over and we will begin weekly meetings on September 17th. We will be kicking off the year spending a few weeks looking at the book One Anothering by Rev Richard C. Meyer which gives some Biblical building blocks for small groups. We meet at noon on the Torrey Pines campus in the Berry center, eating our bag lunches together. Our study/discussion begins at 12:30 and we are finished by 2:00 p.m. All are welcome to join as we study God's Word together and grow to be more like Him. We are doing weekly gatherings just to eat lunch together at a member's home prior to our September 17th kickoff. As a prospective new member, you are welcome to join us and meet some of the gals.

Young Adults & Couples Discipleship Group
Young Adults & Young Couples: Biblical Foundations Young adults and young couples are invited to grow in their confidence and understanding of Scripture with Darius and Icynda West. This group will focus on practical tools for studying the Bible and learning how to better understand what you’re reading. Together, the group will slow down and ask important questions like: Who wrote this book? Who were they writing to? When was it written? Why was it written? What was happening at the time? And how does that context help us understand what the passage means and how we apply it today? The goal is to help you move beyond simply reading the Bible to becoming more confident in studying it, understanding it in context, and allowing God’s Word to shape your everyday life. This will also be a space for honest questions, conversation, prayer, and growing alongside other young adults and couples.
