It's Getting Serious: God's Design for Dating & Relationships Whether you're single, dating, or beginning to ask, "Could this be the one?" this five-week group is designed to help you navigate relationships with wisdom, confidence, and a biblical foundation. It's Getting Serious explores what God's Word says about dating, boundaries, communication, discernment, and preparing for a Christ-centered marriage. Together we'll have honest conversations about modern dating while discovering timeless biblical principles that lead to healthy, God-honoring relationships. If you're ready to pursue relationships with purpose instead of pressure, this group is for you.

Men’s Bible-Doers Growth Group
Men’s Bible-Doers Growth Group God’s Word is alive and transformative, but it is meant to be lived, not just studied. This group is for men who want to move beyond simply gaining knowledge and become “doers of the Word,” putting what they learn into practical obedience in their relationships, character, work, family, and walk with God. Each week will include an action-oriented study focused on apologetics, relevant topics for everyday life, or direct Bible study using resources like BibleProject. Every man will be encouraged to identify one personal, practical, and measurable action step from that week’s study and come back ready to encourage and challenge one another. Leadership will be shared and rotated among the group, creating a culture of mutual ownership, accountability, and growth. When: Tuesdays, 6:30 to 7:30 PM, beginning September 1 Where: Bill Traganza’s home in University City. Address provided after registration. Schedule: The group will meet each Tuesday except the third Tuesday of the month, when men are encouraged to attend the monthly As Iron Men’s Gathering at Torrey Pines Church. Group Size: Limited to 8 to 12 men to create space for deeper relationships, trust, and accountability. This group is open to men who are ready to be intentional about following Jesus, supporting one another, and spurring one another on toward love and good deeds.

Men are invited to gather Thursday mornings at 6:30 AM beginning August 27 for a small group led by Grant. The group will meet in the Balboa Ave area and work through How to Hear God: A Simple Guide for Normal People by Pete Greig. Together, the group will explore practical ways to recognize God’s voice, grow in prayer, and deepen their relationship with Him. The book is designed to spark meaningful conversation, making this a great opportunity to grow spiritually while building stronger relationships with other men at TPC. Please register in advance and purchase a copy of How to Hear God before the first gathering.

Whether you're in a thriving season or navigating challenges, you'll find encouragement, practical tools, and a community of couples pursuing healthier, Christ-centered marriages. No perfect marriages required, just a willingness to grow together.
Thurs Night - Women’s Bible Study on Romans

Women’s small group Bible study led by Lydia Abney and Erin Shatila. The Book of Romans. Thursday evenings from 6:00 to 7:30 PM for 10 weeks, beginning August 27 on at Torrey Pines Church. Romans shows us the power of the gospel to bring clarity to everyday life. It shows us how to love, how to resolve conflict, when to speak, and when to remain quiet. Whether this is your first Bible study or you have already read Romans, you are invited to gain new insight and grow in faith and wisdom alongside other women in our TPC community. Thursday nights are an evening of discipleship for the whole family, with groups available for kids ages 4 and older and for students. Please register in advance on the TPC website and purchase the paperback workbook, Romans: Live With Clarity by Jada Edwards, before the first meeting.
W202 - Soul Keepers - Women's Growth Group

We are currently on a limited meeting schedule for the summer. August 20th Is our last session prior to starting our regular weekly meetings after Labor Day. We will be looking at what the Bible has to say about going through hardship and suffering as well as hearing from Donna Buys about her adventures and hardships during missionary work in Uganda. We welcome all women desiring to study the ways of our Lord as we grow to be more like Him. We meet at noon in the Berry Center at church. We eat a bag lunch together and begin our study and discussion at 12:30 (which will last for about an hour). We would love for you to join us. If you want to prepare ahead of time for the August 20th session, read Psalm 121.

Young Adults & Couples Discipleship Group
Young Adults & Young Couples: Biblical Foundations Young adults and young couples are invited to grow in their confidence and understanding of Scripture with Darius and Icynda West. This group will focus on practical tools for studying the Bible and learning how to better understand what you’re reading. Together, the group will slow down and ask important questions like: Who wrote this book? Who were they writing to? When was it written? Why was it written? What was happening at the time? And how does that context help us understand what the passage means and how we apply it today? The goal is to help you move beyond simply reading the Bible to becoming more confident in studying it, understanding it in context, and allowing God’s Word to shape your everyday life. This will also be a space for honest questions, conversation, prayer, and growing alongside other young adults and couples.
